The United Way of Northeast Missouri(UNEMO) has set up a subcommittee of its Board of Directors to develop new virtual fundraising events for the organization during this coming year.
"We recognize the growing trend to utilize virtual fundraising events to engage current and attract new donors," said Bertha Thomas, UWNEMO President. "We feel this committee will help us reach and engage younger tech-savvy community members. Through virtual fundraising initiatives we will have another platform for sharing our awesome United Way of Northeast Missouri story and provide unique opportunities for current and new donors to support us and the 11 agencies we serve," she added.
Members of the committee include Ted Frushour, Luke Callaghan, Robin Dawson, Vereena Messieha , Caroline Wright and Bill Castles.
